Education Committee Training Workshop Aptly describe as the soul of the coop movement, it describes the important role of the committee, as the one that breathes life and gives meaning to all its activities. It prepares and equips the participants the basics of coop planning, leading, organizing, and controlling, as well as, the dynamics of managing a coop branch.
Loan Officers Training Workshop Loan officers assist the management in one of its major services; extending loans to its members. The problem on delinquency starts from the first day a member applies for a loan in the cooperative. This training provides the participants the basic knowledge of loan cycle; right questions to ask from the borrowers; documents to check; and provide the borrowers some basic financial counseling.
Supervisors Training Workshop This workshop is designed for cooperatives which have branches and numerous personnel. Supervisors are the hands, feet, eyes and ears of management. They assist the managers and branch managers in administration and managing the human resources of the coop. This training equips the participants how to become an effective supervisor by properly implementing the policies, rules and regulations of the coop. It also teaches them the art of handling and taking care of the staff and employees of the cooperative.
Election Committee Training Workshop Traditionally labeled as a committee which functions only during general assembly meetings, this training re orients the participants the roles, duties and responsibilities of election committee in governing a cooperative. Staff Development Seminar Most of the trainings and seminars in the coop sector are participated by the directors, officers and managers being the decision makers in the organization. With the exception of dynamic coops, there is no comprehensive and strategic staff development seminar designed by coops among their staff and employees. Yet, it is the staff and employees who serve day in and day out all the members. This seminar equips the participants, not only new skills and knowledge but also imparts and assures their individual personal development, to the end, that they become better employees.
Collection Strategies & Techniques Seminar Delinquency, being a perennial problem most cooperatives encounter, this seminar attempts to approach it in a new way. Market Development Officer Seminar Workshop Attracting new members and introducing new coop products and services just don’t happen if we sit in the fence, the coops need to be active and aggressive in pushing for the products and services to the members; they need to go out and meet the members where they are at: the market. This seminar equips the participants, among others, market analysis, market segmentation, and to design products and services based on the actual needs of the members.
Human Resources Officer Seminar Workshop Human resource management is a creation of the corporations. Yet, more and more organizations are realizing the importance of human resources as the greatest of all assets, including cooperatives. It equips the participants basic knowledge, attitudes and skills on how to become an effective human resource officer and eventually, to install the appropriate systems and procedures in the cooperative.
Coop Trainers Training Workshop If continuous education, training and information is a revered coop principle, we need to train and develop our internal trainers and facilitators. While there are knowledgeable people in the coops, very few know how to train and pass on their knowledge and skills to others. Trainers Training tries to remedy this situation by enabling the participants, creative teaching methodologies and techniques, particularly, adult principles of learning, to the end that they become effective trainers.
Cashiers Training Workshop The advances in technology, coupled with the rash of robbery and fraud both from the inside and outside, have brought the role of the cashiers in the center stage. Coops need to improve their internal security as an effective precaution. This seminar workshop, trains the cashiers how to detect fraud, spot counterfeit currency, and adopt new security measures to safeguard the money of the members.
Tellers Training Workshop They represent the cooperative, being at the frontline of business operations. Whatever, mistakes and social gaffes they commit during the course of business reflects the image and credibility of the cooperative as a distinct sector. This training workshop assures that all coop transactions are carried out in a competent and professional manner, particularly, in the area of good customer service. It also teaches the participants how to manage quality customer service by adapting customer service standards in the cooperative.
Effective Secretarial Skills Seminar They reinforce and complement the tellers in representing the coop to the public. They represent the manager by being in the office all the time, particularly, when the manager is on field. Their customer service must exceed the expectations of the members, directors and officers. This seminar workshop provides them the necessary knowledge, attitudes and skills on how to become an effective secretary.
